Science stream is the gateway to various career options in Science and allied fields like; Medicine, Engineering, IT research etc.
Science is a very popular and first choice stream in mainstream Nepali education. This is because of the high regard that Nepali society provides to the Science students and it’s also partly because Science is considered to be the stream of very talented and brilliant students. Plus 2 science is divided into two streams – Physical and Biology Group.

Physical Group
Those students interested in shaping their careers as an Engineers, Technicians, Physicists, Mathematicians, Geologists etc can opt for this stream.

Biology Group
This is the gateway to the most popular career choice of global students – Medicine. Aspiring doctors, nurses, biotechnologists, paramedics or biologists can opt for this stream.
The advantage about Science stream is that a student can switch to any other stream – Management or Liberal Arts after completion of Plus 2.
